Enthusiastic amateur
I like fonts, flags and films, roughly in that order. Lately I also make websites, and spend a fair bit of time seeing how much of the tedious work an AI will do if I ask nicely.
Typefaces came first. I’ve spent an unreasonable amount of time learning the difference between a typeface and a font, and so far nobody has asked.
The rest of my attention goes to things made with care. Watches, fountain pens, mechanical keyboards, a good chair, a joke that lands. I start more of these than I finish, which as far as I can tell is the whole point of being an amateur.
